Hey all,

I just wanted to throw this out there... Obviously the sailing school exists and I'm not looking to take anything away from them because they serve an important roll, but sometimes the things we struggle with are not really sailing school issues. It may be a small sail trim tweak, or a crew work/roll issue. I'm all in on racing as I'm sure just about everyone knows and I really want to raise the level of competition across the whole fleet. I really don't care if I qualify in GO fleet or not but intend to sail as much as I can. I have no interest in teaching a beginner how to sail, or jump on your boat long term because I have my own, but if anyone's interested in getting some help taking it to the next level, I'd be more then happy to either crew with you for a Wednesday evening, or I could jump into the mark-set boat and follow you around a bit after helping set the course to offer some pointers. I'm not claiming to be anything special, but I have had the honor of sailing with or against, and learning from some of the very best around, and I sail a LOT as skipper, mainsail trimmer, headsail trimmer, and tactician (2 nights a week plus 12-19 regattas a year). I used to run yearly clinics at RCC, but honestly I think 1 on 1 with a person or team is more effective. And doing it on a night I was already going to be there helps with the wife's willingness to let me. Let me know if you're interested and we can work out the timing. Texting my cell is probably best. See you on the water!
