Canandaigua Yacht Club welcomes new members. You don’t need to own a boat or have prior boating experience to enjoy life on Canandaigua Lake. Members can use club-owned sailboats, kayaks, and paddleboards, participate in sailing lessons, and social events.
Interested in racing? One of the best ways to enjoy the thrill of sailboat racing is to crew on a member's boat. Boat owners always need crew and often welcome complete beginners. CYC depends on dedicated volunteers to manage the club efficiently, resulting in lower operating costs, enhanced community relationships, and an engaged, member-focused environment.
