Marilyn R. Giles passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Barberton, Ohio, and raised in Lyndhurst, Marilyn met her lifelong partner, Peter Giles, in high school. They married in 1960 and shared 65 joyful years together.
Pete and Marilyn joined CYC nearly 50 years ago. Marilyn loved sailing on Canandaigua Lake, attending theater performances, entertaining guests, and driving her spirited Miata.
A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held in Spring 2026, when family and friends will be invited to gather and honor her memory together. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to Lollypop Farm.
