Here it is July 4th weekend already. How quickly time passes! I hope you have been down to the Club and enjoyed a sail, a swim, the beach, a social event and/or just a meal. The calendar has been full of events and those who have attended have had a wonderful experience.
Trivia night is on the second Wednesday of the month. Teams are welcome but you may come by yourself and join up with others in the same situation. You do not need to be an “expert” to participate!
Please enjoy yourself on the waterfront and at the Club. Remember to be courteous to all. On the waterfront, a reminder that board boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards may not be launched from the beach unless the beach is closed. The floating ramp is available for launching. If swimming outside the swimming area, which is not recommended, keep an eye out for sail and motorboats who may have a tough time seeing you. We need everyone to be safe.
Come to the “chosen spot” and enjoy all that is available! See you on the waterfront or at the Club.

Canandaigua Yacht Club Social Events for July
July 5th Family Waterfront Activities and Beach Party 2:00 - 4:00pm
- Activities include Floating basketball hoop, Bubbles, Magnetic fishing, Water target shooting, Sandcastle building and Water noodle contest
July 5th Independence Day Picnic 4:00 – 7:00pm
- Picnic menu including fried chicken, salt potatoes and coleslaw
- Entertainment by Blacktop Daddies
July 9th Trivia Night 7:00 – 9:00pm
- Get your team ready! Trivia Night will be the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
- Reservations are suggested - the event is capped at 40 participants!
