Basic Race Management Seminar - Registration Now Open!

Race Officers are a vital part of our racing program; they:

  • choose courses
  • start, finish, and score the event, and
  • ensure the safety of our competitors and race committee.

In conjunction with RYC & GYC, a Basic Race Management Seminar has been scheduled. We have a few seasoned club PROs, but it is important to have new people become certified and train under them while they are active and can gain from their years of experience and knowledge. Our goal is that each fleet have at least one person attend this course so that our sailing program will continue to grow and thrive. Without these vital people, the sailing program at CYC will suffer.

Registration is now open for the Basic Race Management Seminar. Seats will go fast so register ASAP.  Details follow.

Thank you for considering this important opportunity to support Club Racing.  See you at the waterfront!

Respectfully,
Mary & Bill Schmidt
