After an exhaustive review of available platforms for club management, the Board is excited to announce that we are implementing ClubExpress. We are working diligently to transition to this amazing capability by June. When the platform goes live, we will provide tips and support to get you going. Tasks mainly involve reviewing and editing materials before they go live. Some computer literacy is required!
Moving to this platform enables enhanced communication within our fleets and committees, document storage, on-line registration and payment of all vessel storage and services, restaurant and bar bills, and event registration - including access to all transaction details. This platform will replace our current website while also providing club management tools not available through a website’s standard features, including:
- A Point-of Sales (POS) system through which the restaurant will record sales, event managers can collect fees, and membership dues and other fees can be managed and paid; resulting in a secure online portal that provides members with access to real-time transaction history: including receipts, payments, and ledger balances.
- The ability to submit new membership applications and renew your membership
- A more robust member database, where you can manage your own data, list all members of the household (if desired), and choose your privacy settings and passwords
- A business directory
- A non-member database, ideal for those managing classes and events that attract non-members
- Enhanced communication: ability to form sub groups with their own email distribution lists which can include both members and non-members
- Event registration which can also collect fees through the POS
- Ability for groups such as Fleets and committees to manage their own pages and members, email distribution lists, submit their own events, and more
- Centralized, unlimited document storage space for all documents related to club activities,
providing ease of access, and streamlining the transition of members into new positions.
- Robust technical support - if you “Google” whatever you need help with, you’ll likely find documentation, YouTube videos, and more
